What’s the difference between a duck egg and a chicken egg? I get this question a lot. Anything you can do with a chicken egg, you can do with a duck egg. However, duck eggs are larger, with rich, custardy yolks that are perfect for baking. They make the best cornbread, cakes, and other baked goods.
The duck eggs are now in greater demand than chicken eggs, and mostly from recent converts. If you haven’t tried them yet, you can get them at our farm stand. You can also find them at the Farm & Garden, at 3517 NC Highway 86 North in Hillsborough.
